Difference between core type Transformer and Shell type Transformer

There are the many difference between Core type Transformer and Shell type Transformer.

Core Type Transformer:

Core type transformer has considerable part of the core of a transformer which is surrounded by a coil

Shell Type Transformer:

Shell type transformer has a considerable part of the winding of the transformer which is surrounded by a core.

Shell Type Transformer:
